Student’s computer skills are enhanced by the use of multimedia presentations, desktop publications, and web page creation. Students develop proficiency in QuarkXPress while using graphic capabilities by use of Microsoft Office, Macromedia MX and the Internet. Instruction will include units in operating systems/hardware/software, telecommunications, layout and design, desktop publishing and presentations, web page creation, ethics and careers. A final portfolio will be required of all students.
